Mother's Day

We went to Rexburg for Mother's Day and had a great time.  We went to Mesa Falls on Saturday and spent time with Kendra, Drew, and Megan.  Also got to watch Drew play soccer, which we had not been able to do since high school. On Sunday, they made breakfast and then we went to church.  After church we had a great lunch together before heading home.  I was able to talk to Kyle and Janae on the phone.  They both visited last weekend.  It is always great to spend time with my kids.  I love them all very much and appreciate being a mom.  Thanks kids and Jerry!  I love you all.

I was just thinking today about how much I love my children ( and daughter-in-law) !. You are all such amazing people and I am so proud of all of you.  Plus I love your dad!  We are very blessed! 

Scary Jerry

Some of Jerry's musings are a little frightening, as noted on previous posts.  At least he is writing!  All is good here.  Kendra is at home until mid-April so we are not really empty nesting for now.  We spent yesterday in Provo and went to the BYU-CSU game. (Total blowout).  Got to eat Japanese food with Kyle and Kendra.  Good day. 
I wish I had more hours in the day.  So much I want to do in life.  Organize photos, scrapbook, organize the downstairs and food storage, read, learn to play the violin, reconnect with family and friends.  Life is short.  I am feeling so blessed...especially when I see the heart-wrenching footage of the aftermath in Haiti.  We have so much to be grateful for. 

Cold as snot

Where do these sayings come from?  Rhetorical question, but it makes me wrinkle my nose when someone says something that doesn't even make sense.  I know some things came about and just stuck, but I think lots of things came up, and people can't remember the correct context or the correct saying.  That is when I get cranky and want to "fire them up".  I will put a couple of wierd sayings on here just to get you thinking...

Look at me, I'm bloggin!  If I would have said that 10 years ago I would have to say "excuse me."  Well, Christmas is over.  BYU won the Las Vegas bowl, and now there is nothing to look forward to till spring.  Kyle and I rode the motorcycles, then we went up the canyon on the 4-wheeler.  I love G-ville!  Its a little red neck, and kind of desolate, and there is no good place to eat, but there is tons of trails for bikes and 4-wheelers, and the canyons are actually very pretty year-round.  Thanks Meganheimsteam roller for making us this awesome blog.  My goal is to blog till it makes people sick - what?  Already there?  From now on only pertinent informa shion.
